This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how the personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") you may provide on the Fairway Frenzy mobile application ("Mobile Application" or "Service") and any of its related products and services (collectively, "Services") is collected, protected and used. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information. This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (User, you, or your) and this Mobile Application developer (Operator, we, us, or our). By accessing and using the Mobile Application and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account, fill any forms, or use features in the Mobile Application. This may include your name, email address, profile photo, handicap or skill level, and tournament-related data such as scores and availability. You can choose not to provide us with certain Personal Information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of some of the features on the Mobile Application.
With your permission, we may send push notifications to your device about tournament updates, round schedules, score confirmations, and other app activity. We store your device push token to deliver these notifications. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
When you join an open round through a shared link, we collect your first name and email address. This information is shared with the round organizer so they can coordinate the golf outing with you. The organizer can see your name and email address in the app.
We also send you a confirmation email with the round details (course, date, time, and organizer name). You do not need a Fairway Frenzy account to join an open round.
Your name and email are stored for the duration of the round and retained for record-keeping purposes. If you would like your information removed, please contact us at info [at] fairwayfrenzy.golf.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used to personalize your experience; improve our Mobile Application; improve customer service and respond to queries and emails of our customers; send notification emails such as password reminders, updates, etc; run and operate our Mobile Application and Services. Non-Personal Information collected is used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding Mobile Application traffic and usage. This statistical information is not otherwise aggregated in such a way that would identify any particular user of the system.
We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Information through our Mobile Application or Service. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Mobile Application or Service without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us through the Mobile Application or Service, please contact us.
We secure information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure of Personal Information in its control and custody. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. However, no data transmission over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed.
We will disclose any information we collect, use or receive if required or permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
We reserve the right to modify this Policy relating to the Mobile Application or Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Policy on the Mobile Application. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Mobile Application and Services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
The Mobile Application uses third-party service providers to facilitate some of its services. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
